Manchester United manager just got sacked. As a Liverpool fan, I feel sad for him. Some say that he wasn’t given enough time and SAF left an ordinary team to him. For Liverpool last season, Brendan Rodgers finished 7th but you could see something being done, like possession percentage was higher, there was more passing than usual, just that the ball didn’t go into the net and it was obviously teething problems.
But for David Moyes, the team seemed to have regressed to Everton of old (Not the one under Martinez). If there was some sort of progress or style, then we can say that it was bad luck, but the team played so badly and didn’t have any characteristics of a big team.
Now to see who will be next manager. I’m guessing Van Gaal.
